Love is in the air affection everywhere
Laughing and giggling around me here and there
The birds are singing, the sun is shining
The sky is bluer, but not finer than you are

Some are spending, others are smiling
mushy love letters in nice font styling
Its lover's day shouldn't that be everyday?
A single day to show love, quite unfair i must say

Hello lover,  mr make-my-insides-flutter
hello lover, miss your-eyes-make-me-stutter
I've now lost control of the butterflies in me you order
I cant stop to stare at those eyes that make me wonder

Enough of the mushiness, lets not make a big mess
I love you dearly, and i know you feel nothing less
It's vals day, but really all this rush is madness
Last time i saw so many gifts, was with snow, trees and jingles
Now today its for lovers, but wait who remembered the singles?

 St Valentine's day! how much of this holiday do you even know? Well today i learnt there might have been more than one St Valentine. However both were advocates for love, they belived in and fought for love and were even ready to die for it! How incredible!


Love truly is a beautiful thing and it goes beyond just 'boyfriend and girlfriend' kinda love. Today should be a day to love people in your life generally, family, friends, then the 'special' ones (wink). But we should not forget that loving is a continuous thing, not just on popular holidays or birthdays and anniversaries, its an everyday, every minute, every second act that shoud always be done. Not so easy, but still appreciated by the receivers.

Love is so beautiful that even the bible calls God LOVE!

Now I know that these love enthusiaists like: Saint valentine, Romeo (of juliet) and even the famous Jack Dawson (of titanic) made such huge sacrifices to show how much they believed in love, but nothing has yet topped the incredible display of sacrificial love that Jesus has for us.


His show of love is definitely the greatest for me! Like off the charts! Why? Because that sacrifice of love he made wasn't just for one person- a beatiful damsel (like myself lol), or a group of imprisoned christians etc; it was for the WHOLE WORLD, BOTH BORN AND UNBORN. And that for me, is my number 1 true love story of all time! And even more interesting is that I get to celebrate this amazing love everyday, and trust me it never loses its relevance.

On a yummier note, I've been seeing a lot of cakes and ice cream today, did you get some? How did you spend your val's day? With your special someone or with friends? Make the best of today and don't forget to show yourself some quality love today and beyond!
