TURN IT DOWN, I CANT HEAR MYSELF THINK! (Breathe in part 2)

Hello Loves ❤❤, I'm so glad to have you again. I trust you've been good. so that was a long break away, but I'm back now. How do you handle stressful situations? Do you cope well under pressure?

BREATH IN BREATHE OUT part 2    (not a health post)




So we just here trying to live our lives, and things get really hectic you know?
However, we shouldn't let those things wear us down. Its perfectly normal to be bothered, I mean we all have things we care about and when it looks like a danger is posed to those things, or it looks like what we care about is not going well, we worry. But what shows your strength is how you handle those tough situations, not how much you sit and worry about them.

In all honesty, worry does no good. Life is too short to be spent worrying or sulking over things in the past (far past or immediate past- past is past), or things we can't change. Its when you're calm and your head is clear that you'll be able to make the right decisions.

HOW DO I REMAIN PEACEFUL? In no particular order

1) Learn to learn

This is something I found really hard to do (to be very honest).

Mistakes are for learning lessons and not harbouring regrets. When you learn, your growth curve goes all the way up! Growing is an evidence of living. When you wallow in self pity, it goes down down down, and you would agree with me that that's not God's plan for us (3 john 1:2).  

When you find it hard to learn, check it. That is a symptom of pride. It would be hard to accept correction or learn anything because you feel you don't make mistakes, and if you ever did it was 'intentional'. Please drop that mindset, its not healthy. I did I can boldly tell you.

2) Be still and trust Him
I for one, am prone to worry a lot about things,and with God's help I'm learning to change that .  I worry about how something would be before it happens, long after it has happened, and sometimes about things that might never happen!  So I know exactly how it is. God's plan is that we prosper and be in good health. Of course, things will not all fall on a shiny gold/silver platter from above, there would be hitches along the road. Still relax and trust in Him, He's faithful.

3) Learn to forgive yourself (Let go)
Some other times I make one mistake and beat myself down a 100 times over, although it might stop that mistake from recurring, it leaves me unhappy.  I definitely don't want to live unhappy, so I've learnt to forget about it and move on.
I  breathe!

4) Learn to pause and reflect (think)
Apart from ourselves, we have the crowd of friends, the multitude of family members, and those whose opinions you don't even need ! You should be able to find yourself in this heavy mix, if not you'll lose who you are about, to what is going on around you.

When it gets too toxic you should be able to take a step back and breathe!
Breathe in clean fresh air and breathe out the toxic bad air.
Breathe in possibilities and breathe out negativity
Breathe in strength and breathe out weaknesses

 I know it sounds cliche but if you think you can't do it, you won't be able to! And if you think you can, no matter how hard you'll find a way and you will! Its all mind play.

5) Don't lose yourself
Finally and most importantly: Never forget the place of 'you' in your life.  Whenever it gets too much to handle, turn it down, breathe and think ! Don't lose yourself in the mix.     Don't lose your flavor!

Be like ginger, blend in but still stand out.  (Lines of a smoothie lover)

      

When life gives you noise turn it down, listen and make a hit song out of it! Or maybe just a nice rhythm. 

Life is too short to be bothered, make memories and not worries.
